Dealu is a typical subalpine settlement at the southern feet of Lookout Hill (1009 m). The main attraction of the village is the Fort of Mak, along with two ancient settlements dating from the Wietenberg culture, with ceramics from the second half of the Bronze Age. The fort and its surroundings are an archaeological site today.
”The tree of Michael Fijér is guarding the place. If the wind rustles its leaves, they whisper legends of immortal Szekler heroes.”
